Second International Conference on “Intelligent Systems & Controls - ISCO-2008" conducted from 1st to 2nd February 2008. It was co-organised by Department of Mechatronics Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Perlis, Malaysia and co-sponsored by CSIR, New Delhi.
Our college has been selected as one among the top 5 colleges out of 200 colleges by EMC Corporation, Bangalore for the various activities conducted during the year 2008.
Our college has been selected as one among the top 30 colleges out of the total 1513 colleges participated in the TGMC’08 contest conducted by IBM India Pvt Ltd., through IBM Academic Initiative.
Karpagam Innovation Center
To promote research and development in the Karpagam College of Engineering, the management has established Karpagam Innovation Centre in the KCE Campus. This initiative is to nurture innovation and evolve into fruitful products and patents. As a first step in this process is the setting of an Embedded MEMS Laboratory. This was inaugurated on 5th April 2008. The MEMS Lab is provided with a Lecture Hall, Design Centre and Fabrication and a Testing Facility.
